 remembering SAM !

 Sam was our family's 2nd black labrador retriever, ...she came after Friendly, who was with us in Grand Rapids only. Sam went with us from Grand Rapids to Bellflower, California and was a fun and faithful family dog for many years...she loved chasing a ball, taking walks, going to the beach...RIP SAM

 (which was short for Samantha, by the way) 

 

 that was a balancing act ...to keep her in place for a few moments so I could snap the picture
