8/10/21 Review of Seattle Seahawks training camp

So this was my first experience at the Seattle Seahawks training camp in Renton Washington a suburb of Seattle - right on the shore of Lake Washington. In fact you could see boats cruising by while watching them practice.

I think one boat tried to come and watch by the space between the bushes but it seemed like a couple of fellows shooed them away.  I'm not sure how they can legally keep boats away but the boat took off - seems like you could swim or take a stand up paddle board up to the shore and watch the practice but people from Seattle aren't like that- too reserved in nature.

.  I've been to several different NFL teams training camps and this is the only one so far that I've been to that charges an  admission fee.  about $14. There's no way to come and watch for free. And you have to park at a shopping mall a few miles away and they take you in a school bus to the practice.

One thing I DIDN'T like upon arrival was a guy yelling at me to make sure I put the admission bracelet on and snap it -as if I was going to try  some kind of scam or  something.  WHAT a JERK πŸ‘Ž.  & he wasn't even the one who was supposed to be checking for bracelets.

Just a busybody minding everybody else's business. After from that I didn't have any problems with anybody -although I didn't like them telling us we can't take videos of the practice.

Once again Seattle people are so nice and compliant about everything they'll just accept it as an order when it's really probably even NOT constitutional to tell people they can't take a video of something.

The practice was pretty normal and then they had a scrimmage at the end. Unlike other training camps the players here do NOT come over to the sidelines and give autographs during or even after the practice.

The coach Pete Carroll was dressed in all white looking like a painter or something - kind of running around barking commands but in his nice guy kind of way.  HE might be TOO nice to really command  the kind of performance needed to get to the Superbowl.

Overhead we  saw bald eagles flying - that was pretty incredible- &  fits well with the name of the team . And then practice ended after 90 minutes.

And I prayed for the players and  continue to pray for them- hopefully they can find a higher calling beyond football 🏈 &  the coaches & spectators too ✝ πŸ™ ❤ #RepentAndBeBaptized
