Review of Regal University Theatre Irvine , Dec 2021

I'm a longtime customer here - I LIKE the new renovations -but when I arrived for Spiderman on Tuesday December 21 2021 at noon the gal employee behind the counter at first pretended to NOT know about the Tuesday discount. But said I get the matinee discount for $12.

I knew I'm supposed to get the Tuesday discount for approx $6 & stated so. She said "oh yeah" & asked for my card. I said I didn't have it knowing she could look it up by my number. She pretended at first to NOT know about the number lookup. She seemed intent on trying to get $12 bucks from me.Finally she realized I wasn't a "rich fool" & started doing her job.

Dear Management, please have a conversation with this young lady about honesty & people on a budget. We're NOT ALL rich fools in this neighborhood.

Review of OctaPharma Plasma Garden Grove CA

It's ok but a few of the employees are prima donnas. They think they are more important than the  donors & will take their time to come to you when your green light is on. They will do it intentionally to show you "who's the boss".

My green light was on for about 2 minutes  and finally I waved to Dominique  to make sure that he knew I was finished because none of the employees were looking my way. He was casually talking to a female employee at the moment and responded "we'll be with you in a moment" and then he DIDN'T come over in a moment. Instead I had to wait for the gal nearby who was still cleaning one of the chairs.

Finally she came  and tried to make me feel like I was the one who was being pushy telling me she was "cleaning the blood that had dripped  on the floor" as if I was the bad guy for wanting to get unhooked in a timely manner. And I DON't want to hear about blood dripping 👎. I was NOT being demanding -just expecting timely service as able ( & Dominique was able as well the gal he was talking to).  They were just chit-chatting .

Every single person who comes in there to donate blood is doing a good job by coming in patiently, obeying all the rules, being polite.  Many I've talked to  have jobs  and this is just to help make ends meet. We all have hardships  we could tell but nobody  wants to hear  sad stories.

If you're one of the workers and you're  just casually talking  to a coworker and you won't take time to come and take the needle out of somebody's arm ASAP then that's really LOUSY & MEAN  of you. shame on you.

You're NOT superior to us. You're NOT more important. We've done our best as clients to come in in an orderly manner ... quietly & patiently obeying the rules and it's NOT too much to ask that when we're finished that you come over in a timely manner to let us out. It's NOT being demanding of us . It's a normal expectation. We  are doing our best so it's normal to expect that you do your best. It's mutual . Make it a win-win.

Can we END abortion by paying 💰people to NOT abort ? 💥🌟😇

Can we END abortion by
paying people to NOT abort ?
ie Paying good money 💸 for a

Can we END the abortion industry by paying 💰 abortion workers to STOP doing their business ? Give them a retirement payout if they
promise to stop aborting babies ? https://t.co/Y3aEaBY8pu

Many people fighting to keep the abortion industry going in a lot of cases are fighting for their OWN careers AND salaries💰. My proposition is to shift the money directly to them & let them live in luxury BUT at the SAME TIME ban abortion. Will they accept that?
 Pay to NOT abort

FYI for Ralphs Grocery Store workers

THIS is an FYI for  Ralphs Grocery Store workers, especially the check- out people and maybe especially the self-checkout employees (particularly in Torrance CA):  because of the bag policy in California and they're trying to reduce the use of plastic for the environment sake I have accepted the burden of NOT using bags and so I place  purchased items back in my cart and take the cart to my car 🚗 at which point I transfer everything from the cart into my car. And then when I get home I transfer everything from my car to my counter & refrigerator etc.  I do NOT bring my own bag because I do NOT like to reuse bags.  They get dirty and unsanitary very quickly.

I explain all of this in detail because there are those workers who apparently negatively stereotype or profile people who do NOT use or buy bags as being poor or maybe even homeless & trying to walk off with the grocery cart with their your items in it.

God forbid 🚫. This is NOT the case. First of all if I was homeless  I would NOT be shopping at Ralphs. 2nd,  as mentioned above, I do this to be as environmentally friendly as possible and also NOT because I can't afford a dime per bag

Your hypersensitivity to socioeconomics coming from where you come from as employees is VERY hypocritical. So it's a shame that I have to explain all this.

It's like the professor at Berkeley who comes with his lunch in a brown bag. It's NOT because he can't afford to eat in the cafeteria;  or the professor at Stanford who drives an older car. It's NOT because he can't afford a newer car. There are eclectic people who do things for eclectic reasons

It's a shame when you stereotype in a negative way because that's where you came from. I hope this helps you understand things a little bit more. If you would have stayed in school long enough instead of becoming a clerk right out of  high school  you might have grown in your awareness and knowledge & appreciation of living for a higher purpose. God bless you. #acceptChrist2bSaved2Day

re Ralphs Grocery at 3455 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505.

#Pray4 🙏The African-American young man who works at the self-checkout. He actually is semi-illiterate & lives in a van behind the store, but at the same time he is very cocky & condescending ESPECIALLY towards white males, & annoys customers. The management  originally hired him out of compassion but now is afraid to do anything about him because they're afraid of a lawsuit. Meanwhile he's driving good customers away. It's a terrible situation. This store is REALLY struggling in the poor side of Torrance/Redondo .

I will never return here again until the African American who works at the self-checkout area gets FIRED. This guy is so cocky and demeaning and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. People try to avoid him, & even drive farther to the other Ralphs. He is such an arrogant capital A-hole. I know complaints have been filed against him previously.  I don't know why they DON'T do anything about. He is SO very condescending.

Re Ralphs Grocery at 3455 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505

Re Ralphs Grocery at 3455 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505.

NOBODY here seems to know how to use the digital coupons. In the cheese section there was an item on sale and the sticker next to it said "scan the QR code " which I did and I got the Ralph's website but NOT  a digital coupon. I clicked  around a little bit but couldn't find what I needed to get the discount.

So I asked a nearby guy stocking shelves & he shrugged & said "Ask them up at front", not overly concerned about trying to help me. Then I asked the guy at self-checkout & he first said "You have to download the app." And then he added "Next time you come in, go up to the customer service and ask them."

Clearly these employees themselves have NOT actually gone through the whole process of ever using digital coupons which is kind of surprising.
You would think the management would make sure everybody who works for them has a little bit of an idea of how things work - at least the ABC's - so they can be helpful  to the customers rather than shrug it off and send you to somebody else. Have to give
the store a grade of C in this regards.

Re American Latinos who Hate White Americans

Re American Latinos who

Hate White Americans

( or Latinos living in America who

Hate White Americans )

Here's the city of Shafter.  Now at an  ATM and a  Latino girl saw me and she started swearing on her phone 📱 just to try to perturb me -it looked like a fake phone conversation as an excuse to use profanity- to prove something -but prove what ?

IT'S NOT the first time it's happened but now I know it's intentional so I'm trying to psychoanalyze it. It's a bad phenomenon - some Latinos intentionally exhibiting extremely rude behavior as they walk by -in one case at Newport Beach a stoned pothead Latino intentionally burped very loudly as I walked by on the beach then he laughed maniacally - very rude and crude.

It's like they're saying " I don't give a blank and I want you to know it" as opposed to polite society where at least they pretend that they do care and want to be known as good citizens.

It's really the ultimate slap in the face when they do that. You can't get more insulting than that -like saying "I'm an A- hole and I'm proud of it " . It's almost like they're trying to pick a fight even though they are being cowardly - they know that you're in such a situation as a good citizen that to get in a fight would be self-defeating NOT because you couldn't win a fist fight with the skinny chumps (or in the case of female antagonists they know you won't hit a girl) but because you'd end up getting in trouble with the law which would cause you many more problems as a good citizen than a person who could sit in jail for a year and their life would be the same -going nowhere.

So they intentionally act worse than animals - what they really want, I think - in this case its a predominantly Latino community- is they want to keep white people out. It's actually racism but they can't be overtly racist so they have to exhibit behavior that makes you want to stay away from them - to think of them as worse than animals even though you know Mexico actually has a polite culture -so they're saying "if we treat them (ie white people) like blank indirectly they WON'T want to be around us & we can have our own private Idaho here in the USA.  We can't ban them but we can make them want to stay away by acting worse than animals."

Its total racism by them toward whites.

IT'S like they hate the people who open the doors 🚪to welcome them in (a lot of us, including me, are kindhearted & want you to do well & have opportunities) & to keep us away from them, they will make us miserable to be around them by acting worse than animals. At least I know the rationale behind it now - it took me awhile to figure out. Shameful. 👎

10/19/21 Re Walmart at 8230 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646

10/19/21 Re Walmart at 8230 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646

I've been coming here for many years  only because it's the closest Walmart &  I don't want to drive several miles away to get to the other one in Westminster. SO I just usually put up with the bad behavior by some of the clerks who monitor the self-checkout and they have some really ice cold ladies - I hate to use the b- word - but that's what comes to mind.

Most recently I was checking out mostly groceries but also purchasing one of those storage bins & the lady made me take the top off it  to prove that I hadn't hidden anything in it.

It was VERY embarrassing & humiliating.  I think I'm going to call Walmart headquarters and make a formal complaint about it.  She was SO ice cold about it too - NOT even  respectful towards me.

Maybe they could have a policy posted that says "any  empty containers being purchased must have the lid taken off " or something like that so that you don't feel like they're picking on you, but there's NOTHING like that - so she can't claim she was just following policy-  it really did feel like she was TARGETING me - ie profiling me as a bad person. I'm NOT a bad person & had NO intention of stealing anything 🚫. I DON'T deserve to be treated like a criminal .

Have some decency: If you arrive late at church, DON'T sit in the front 👎 🚫.

⛪ one thing that bothers me is when parishioners come in late for whatever reason- maybe it's not their fault - maybe they got caught in traffic or  whatever ; but at least in such cases DON'T come all the way up to the front with such audacity.  just sit in the back.

Today a couple came in AFTER the homily was finished (which is pretty late) they had the arrogance to sit in front of me. it's sort of like they insert themselves into a story that they weren't part of from the beginning.  It feels rude.

It happens to everybody -arriving late for whatever reason & it's just plain decency to sit in the back in such cases.

Re San Carlos Cathedral, Monterey CA

The church building is historic 👍. The priests good. But there's a few local yokels who are using the church like it's their club. If they don't know you, they WON'T even greet you. It's rather dehumanizing 👎. This is a problem in some Catholic Churches where people DON'T  have  sincere commitment to the doctrines of the church nor sincere conviction to the faith they pretend to practice. And it explains why there are so-called anti-Life Catholics -cuz they're NOT real Catholics

my side of the story: re the girlie mag & cousin Tom & Arnold

I need to tell the story about taking a magazine away from cousin Tom (not real name) and the implications that arose from it. So the summer that I was staying at the PG's House in Jackson Hole - one  day Aunt Mary (not real name) asked me to pick up the mail from the post office.  They get all their mail at a PO Box because the mailman doesn't deliver out to the houses out there.

So I went and picked up the mail and included with it was a girlie magazine addressed to my cousin Tom (changed name to respect his privacy). Now I'm not saying I'm a saint or that we shouldn't appreciate female beauty but as a Christian I think we should try to avoid sins of the flesh especially that kind of stuff, so I took it upon myself to hide the magazine from Tom figuring he probably wouldn't know or remember it.

But the same day later that afternoon I'm downstairs and suddenly I hear an argument out there next to my cousin's bedroom which is right next to mine.  It's my special needs cousin Arnold (not real name)  & Tom arguing and then Aunt Mary (not real name) gets involved about where is the magazine . They know I picked up the mail so there's no one else to blame, but WHY would they know it's coming that exact day, that's the question.

So I pull out the magazine which I had not yet thrown away & not sure really what explanation I gave them -I didn't start preaching although I probably should have - I think I just handed it to them and walked away and that was the end of it.

But somebody started gossiping -probably Arnold (or was it Mary ?) ( who I think has always really hated me - not sure why cuz I really didn't know him personally much at all growing up - only a few times meeting on holidays or big family gatherings which were very few and far in between) to the Beatrice & Lonny family which is Uncle Warnock's brother & sister-in-law (who has since deceased, RIP ) about this incident & implied that I was taking the girlie magazine for my own self-gratification rather than the real reason.

And I never was given a chance to explain, and it became exceedingly obvious that Beatrice's opinion of me dropped precipitously after that. She wouldn't even talk to me.  But the fact that they knew the magazine was coming that day & noticed  it missing actually led me to believe that this was a setup to see if I would take it so they could actually create a false narration that I had taken it for my own self-gratification even though that was NOT the truth.

That was the only time Aunt Mary ever asked me to pick up the mail for them as well, before or after.  So I just wanted to lay that out there and let people decide for themselves. By that time in life I was long past any kind of adolescent behavior such as the kind implied by this incident.

Re Stanford Coin Wash & Dangerous Assumptions

Stanford Coin Wash

Used to come here when i was a college student living off campus. Now I'm a homeowner with my own washing machine but I just returned from 4 months traveling cross-country thru national parks etc. Discovered my house washing machine NOT working .

So I came here. Everything worked fine but my blue pants came out of the wash with some lint or something on them. So I used the sink to rinse some of it off.

An African-American mother & her daughter happened to stop in & she made the wrong assumption that I was a homeless person trying to wash my pants in the sink.

She says to me "Can I pay for a load of wash for you ?" I say "huh ? It took me a moment to discern her misperception - putting 2 + 2 together .😎. I say "I'm NOT homeless" & tried to explain to her what I was doing.

But then she said "me too". I said "you too what ?" This was like a comical "Who's on 1st" conversation. Anyways, thanks for caring about me lady but I'm fine 👌.

Proud that I've done well in life by the grace of God but also personal initiative. I will NEVER QUIT until God takes me ✝ ❤ 🙏

9/5/21 Review of St Ann Cathedral, Great Falls MT

Unfortunately, not a very good experience as I was just passing through town I was here on Sunday morning so  i went  to St Anne's cathedral for noon service. Part of the problem is that here in Great Falls I don't find regular internet connection on my phone so I couldn't easily check the times of mass and so it was taking me awhile to find a place just to figure out the time for Catholic mass and then figure out where Saint Anne's Church is.

Beautiful ⛪ inside but I was a few minutes late & the black guy there who apparently is some kind of usher chided me for being late and then during the offering time he kind of gave me a disapproving side eye for not putting any money in the plate.

I'm a traveler so I've always been under the impression by most churches if you're not a regular attendee you're not really expected to be putting money in the offering plate given the expenses it takes just to be traveling all the time. & I'm NOT a millionaire. I do have a budget.

So I just kind of felt bad about the experience & the atmosphere and I left a little early and probably won't be back there for sometime 😞. By the way a lady in shorts came in after me and I didn't notice the black guy  showing any disapproval towards her. Why picking only on me ?

8/24/21 Review of Fault Lake Trail near Sandpoint Idaho

8/24/21 started hiking at 630 am. All  of the places I've been hiking this summer so far have been crowded with other hikers including  Mount ⛰Rainier &  the Leavenworth area near Enchantments & also Mount Baker, but I had this trail all to myself BOTH ways - not a single other hiker & when I got back to the trailhead  no other cars. Really felt like "My Own Private Idaho". 😎

The hike was great & the 6 miles there went very quick. I enjoyed the lake & I had brought a fishing 🎣 line just in case because I read the reviews that there is some good fishing here. So I dropped my line in with a little red cherry lure and sure enough a beautiful rainbow 🌈🐟 trout took the bait in a few seconds. I quickly released him - too early for a fish dinner.

On the way back I think I heard 👂  one bear and I saw another 🐻. I also think I saw  the back end of an elk running away or something with a white rear end.  The bear that I did see cracked a branch so I saw him before he saw me. In fact I don't think he saw me but I think he did smell me or heard me cuz he was looking for something.

He was through the trees on a ridge above me. I had a good view of him with my naked eye but I couldn't get a good picture 📷 of him - too many shadows & branches.

HE 🐻 stood there for a few minutes just looking around and then he started coming down and was on a trajectory to  intersect with the trail in front of me so I started running to avoid being seen and probably ran about half a mile to make sure I was out of his distance. HE  was a big 🐻 boy - i DIDN'T want to tangle with him.

Back at the parking lot i explored the river for about an hour before leaving.  There's lots of little pools and waterfalls you can cool off in although the water is a bit too cold to stay in for too long but it is warmer than Fault Lake itself which was too cold to swim in. Also by the way there were NO flies or mosquitoes up there this time of year 👍.

Getting to the trailhead is a fairly easy drive except for the last half a mile  is a bit rough - a dirt road with big bumps and rocks but if you go slow enough you can make it even with a regular car 🚗

Review: 1st Presbyterian Spokane

Pretty nice. I was just visiting & the people were nice to me even though i did NOT wear a mask 😷 which the sign says were encouraged but NOT required.

But since almost everybody had one on AND were not being holier-than-thou about it, I decided I would put one on just to be nice & put their minds at ease- those with weak consciences who think that the masks are going to save them (which they won't).

So I reached to the box of new masks they had on a table and one of the ladies - I guess she was an employee- kind of  growled "yes" as if that was the right thing to do. If that was her idea of behavior modification it  was very off-putting, more like being a mask bully.

So at that moment  I decided NO I will NOT put a mask on because I DO know better. Apart from this one lady, everything was excellent 👍. Thanks

Review of Stuart Lake Trail, Enchantments region, Leavenworth WA

I notice  one review says they  "saw two bears". How come there's no pictures  📷 ? First thing I would want to do if I saw a bear 🐻 is take a picture unless  it's aggressively charging at me which doesn't sound like it did , so I kind of doubt that he actually saw two bears, but it's a nice story.

2nd , to the two weirdos I saw near Stuart Lake who called me SIR. You don't do that out here on the trail.  This ISN'T like some kind of formal environment.  We're all just fellow hikers . YOU ruin the vibe. Go home. Go back  to west Hollywood or wherever you came from 👎

Re St James Cathedral ⛪Seattle & Archbishop Etienne

Great church ⛪, but i am disappointed with archbishop Etienne 's recent pronouncement re  communion basically without any standards 👎- even if you're in favor of abortion - even if you are in a position of political power & take steps to support abortion rather than preserve life -Etienne says you can STILL receive communion because it's "about grace".

But these are NOT people apologetic nor repentant about abortion - they are NOT in a state of grace - they're NOT even asking for grace at the communion table - they are arrogantly in defiance of God & the catholic church position on abortion. Just like going to hell 🔥- the only reason you end up there is if you DON'T want to go to heaven . God grants you your choice. It's that simple.

Etienne is either obtuse or corrupt himself - neither of which is tolerable at such a high position .

8/10/21 Review of Seattle Seahawks training camp

So this was my first experience at the Seattle Seahawks training camp in Renton Washington a suburb of Seattle - right on the shore of Lake Washington. In fact you could see boats cruising by while watching them practice.

I think one boat tried to come and watch by the space between the bushes but it seemed like a couple of fellows shooed them away.  I'm not sure how they can legally keep boats away but the boat took off - seems like you could swim or take a stand up paddle board up to the shore and watch the practice but people from Seattle aren't like that- too reserved in nature.

.  I've been to several different NFL teams training camps and this is the only one so far that I've been to that charges an  admission fee.  about $14. There's no way to come and watch for free. And you have to park at a shopping mall a few miles away and they take you in a school bus to the practice.

One thing I DIDN'T like upon arrival was a guy yelling at me to make sure I put the admission bracelet on and snap it -as if I was going to try  some kind of scam or  something.  WHAT a JERK 👎.  & he wasn't even the one who was supposed to be checking for bracelets.

Just a busybody minding everybody else's business. After from that I didn't have any problems with anybody -although I didn't like them telling us we can't take videos of the practice.

Once again Seattle people are so nice and compliant about everything they'll just accept it as an order when it's really probably even NOT constitutional to tell people they can't take a video of something.

The practice was pretty normal and then they had a scrimmage at the end. Unlike other training camps the players here do NOT come over to the sidelines and give autographs during or even after the practice.

The coach Pete Carroll was dressed in all white looking like a painter or something - kind of running around barking commands but in his nice guy kind of way.  HE might be TOO nice to really command  the kind of performance needed to get to the Superbowl.

Overhead we  saw bald eagles flying - that was pretty incredible- &  fits well with the name of the team . And then practice ended after 90 minutes.

And I prayed for the players and  continue to pray for them- hopefully they can find a higher calling beyond football 🏈 &  the coaches & spectators too ✝ 🙏 ❤ #RepentAndBeBaptized

Review of Mount Rainier National Park (Mowich, Tolmie, Spray Falls/Park)

Great place to camp or just park for the day to take either trail to Tolmie Peak ⛰ and/or Spray Falls & park , or a few other destinations. End of July Lake Mowich is warm enough to swim in 🏊 👍. Don't bother fishing 🎣 though - i don't think there's any fish 🐟at all, except i DID see a few dead crayfish - but only dead ones.

And there's also Lake Eunice on way to Tolmie - smaller than Mowich - there were some critters in the water - maybe polliwigs on the verge of becoming frogs 🐸. & don't forget mosquito spray or something to keep the bugs away - repellant seems to work but I ran out and then I had to use mud on my arms which actually worked pretty good .

Oh also DON'T forget to purchase a park pass (or preferably  an annual pass to save money if you go to the National Park more than two times per year) .

You might think that the rangers won't drive all the way out there to issue parking citations but they DO. In  fact when I came back from Spray Park I saw several citations on vehicles as I was walking back to my car .

I'm glad I had put my annual pass on my dashboard cuz sometimes I DON'T do it thinking that they don't really ever check - but this time I did so I didn't get a ticket.

I wonder how many people actually DO have annual passes but just forgot or neglected to put them on their dashboard.

To be honest there's NOT a lot of signs saying you need to post your pass on your dashboard. Maybe they do that purposely to surprise you and raise a little revenue. Nothing surprises me

Re AMC movie 🎥 theatre in Bellevue WA (Factoria 8)

Re AMC movie 🎥 theatre in Bellevue WA (Factoria 8) This theater 🎥 has nice reclining seats -very comfortable &  the parking is free and plentiful.  I don't know why everybody's complaining about it - maybe in the evening it gets crowded but at the matinee there was more than enough parking.

However  the environment is kind of strange.  I like it when employees actually have seen some of the movies - that they're actually movie aficionados so you can chat with them a bit  about it.

Too often  it seems that they're just there because it's an easy job. I think they should require the employees to watch some of the movies so that you can interact with them & say "Did you like this movie ? " or "What do u recommend?" etc  so you're not just feeling like a piece of meat 🍖- paying- moneyget in -now get out - next up.

I personally do movie reviews so  that's another reason I like to be able to talk to other people about the movies including the employees - just briefly in passing. I mean if you want to work at a movie theater hopefully it's because you DO like movies a little bit.

AND also that you respect people who come to see the movies - that they're thinking while they're watching a movie - that you the employee DOESN'T just see the customer as somebody who throws money at you & pays your hourly wage - not just popcorn- eating idiots .

Does that make sense? Everybody likes to be respected . I do movie reviews.  I write about the movies & I like to be respected for my thoughtful critique . i also exercise & work out 🏋 & went to college & grad school.

Most importantly i am a Christian ✝ & started the motto #PrayTheMovies 🙏 🎥. I've done 1000's of "Movie Reviews for Christians" - meaning I've paid a good chunk of your wages as well.  I hope you can respect THAT.

re Taco Bell near Walmart in Bellingham WA after NBA finals free taco day 2021

Some days you just want to get a freebie with a smile like today -all the Taco Bells are giving away a free Taco because of  Milwaukee Bucks winning the NBA Championship 🏀- having come back from a halftime deficit - that was the deal & promotion by #TacoBell 🌮 🛎.

It was early so i  wasn't too hungry and I ask for the free taco and they provided it- but with NO HAPPINESS 😟. The girl who handed it to me NEVER smiled - just a b- face 😖 maybe because I didn't order anything else -I don't know.

Sometimes clerks will do that to punish you if you are a bargain hunter. That's NOT cool 👎. Come on girl 👧- DON'T do that 🚫. Give me a smile ☺ and make me feel good every now and then when enjoying a freebie. You'll still get paid

Give me a smile 😀 and a sincere "Have a nice day". Be gracious and kind . Do unto others as you would have them do unto YOU.

Re place where I hiked & a teachable moment

Pretty nice place - free parking & you take a Switchback Trail down to the water across the train track. One side of the water was very grassy NOT very swimmable. The other side was more clear - I went swimming 🏊 here and this is after I had taken about a 7 mile hike 👣 up by nearby Fragrance Lake.

So I was a little bit tired and then I had an " issue" coming back up the Switchback Trail so I went off the trail and this is where I'll just have to be honest with ya'll - a guy started yelling at me not to take shortcuts but I had to find a place off the trail to take care of business (if you know what I mean) -  I had diarrhea 💩 -a bad bout of diarrhea- that had to be released -so I snuck off to the side and he thought I was taking a shortcut and started yelling at me.

I'm glad he didn't chase or he would have been in for an unpleasant surprise 💩. But it just goes to show that you if you're self- righteous or holier-than-thou sometimes you should suspend judgment until you know the whole story.

Re 'homeless' begging at church exit

I Like this church ⛪ but as i was leaving there was an ethnic couple with a child standing by the exit holding a sign asking for help.

This is NOT the first time I've experienced this at a Catholic Church (elsewhere).  It seems like there's a few people who specifically know exactly what time people will be leaving and they target churchgoers either to guilt them or if you give them something they give you God's blessing as if they are actually superior to you which is an odd feeling:

As you're helping them, they're actually acting condescending toward you as if for some reason you're just some schmuck going to church and they're some sort of sophisticated 'survivor' who is closer to God than you -which makes me angry actually - and it also leaves me feeling like these people are scamming me for a handout or  some kind of psychological manipulation rather than  actually being really needy.

I handed them two cans of food that I carry for homeless people but once again I didn't feel like I was giving it to somebody who was really so needy but was actually quite savvy 👎.

Like they decided to go stand by the Catholic church and see if these church people are really very generous or not.  and my question is ARE U REALLY NEEDY OR NOT ? If not,   you are SCAMMING people .

Yes I was that guy walking around with a blank ball under my arm at ballard locks

Yes I was that guy walking around with a blank ball under my arm at ballard locks -some people may be wondering why when there's no  blank around the area -strangely after visiting the locks visitor center I came out and there was a brand new blank ball sitting right there on the sidewalk.

I looked around at all the people there and asked "Is this your ball is this your ball ?" everybody said NO so I picked it up and walked around thinking maybe I'd see a family or people who forgot their new ball  and they'd say "Hey, that's our ball " -but nobody did

SO I just walked back to my car with it. If you lost your ball and can identify it -let me know & you can have it back 👍

re Scriber Lake Park & homeless, Lynnwood WA

My experience here does NOT match up with the negative reviews i read about homeless & needles etc. I DIDN'T see a single piece of trash. I saw a city worker emptying garbage cans. I saw city workers pouring wood chips on trail. I saw one man fishing.

By the way, a person may be without a home temporarily but shouldn't be denigrated as 'homeless'. I DON'T get it when people who have EVERYTHING: a home, car, money etc find it necessary to kick people who are down & out.

Sure, some made bad choices but not always - some are victims too. But if you are somebody who made all the right choices & have never been victimized you should simply be thankful & try to help others out of their bad situation - if not with material things at least thru prayer & encouragement 👍.

disappointed with seattle archbishop Etienne 's recent pronouncement re communion

i am disappointed with archbishop Etienne 's recent pronouncement re  communion basically without any standards - even if you're in favor of abortion - even if you are in a position of political power & take steps to support abortion rather than preserve life -

Etienne says you can STILL receive communion because it's "about grace". But these are NOT people apologetic nor repentant about abortion - they are NOT in a state of grace - they're NOT even asking for grace at the communion table - they are arrogantly in defiance of God & the catholic church position on abortion. Etienne is either obtuse or corrupt himself - neither of which is tolerable at such a high position

Lynwood WA: Walmart should NOT have supremacist 🇮🇳 India-Americans 🇺🇸 working at self-checkout.

Walmart should NOT have supremacist 🇮🇳 India-Americans 🇺🇸 working at self-checkout. Furthermore because they are also Hindus & frown 😠 upon alcohol , they have barely hidden contempt for customers who purchase beer etc .

That is another reason India-Americans should NOT be working in positions where they are a negative influence on the customer experience 👎. You're better off driving 🚗to the full-service supercenter 5 miles north in Everett - much better customer experience at the Everett location . TOO many India-Americans who think they are superior here in Lynwood 👎 WA

Walmart, Lynwood WA,

I love people from India 🇮🇳 - they are a valuable part of the USA melting pot 🇺🇸 - however some of them think they are SUPERIOR to others

Even at self- checkout the Indian employee (+ 2 other India employees roaming around) 1st pointed in an authoritarian manner at which kiosk he wanted me to use as if we can't decide for ourselves & then asked if I had scanned the 2 t-shirts 👕.

I said YES. But then he scrolled thru the thing to make sure - & DIDN'T apologize for  doing so nor say "thank u sir" as would be expected - just acted very bossy & superior as if i was white trash 🗑.

re When NOT to give fishing 🎣advice

I'm not much of a fisherman but I carry a pole around with me and once in a while I like to walk out on a dock and cast my line for a while- NOT necessarily with  high hopes of catching anything8  but just being out there enjoying the water & the weather & a feeling of peacefulness.

I tell u this because I get tired of people coming up to me sometimes and trying to give me advice about how to catch fish. Even though they're NOT fishing themselves they think they're experts at telling other people how to catch fish 🐟.

I'd be happy sometimes just casting a line 🎣 without even a hook on it just for something to do for a little while. It's called Zen.

So next time you see somebody fishing- even if they're NOT catching anything just allow them to enjoy their Zen -their peace.  Thank you very much 👍

Hint re identity of this Eagles & GR blogger: I'm from 1 of the wealthiest 'old money' GR families

Hint re identity of this eagles blogger:

I'm from 1 of the  wealthiest 'old money' 💰 GR families. My grandfather was a entrepreneur who grew up in Holland & Grand Rapids in the early 1900's & later made millions in Chicago as an inventor.

After which he moved his business back to GR & it is still in business in 2021. McDonalds restaurants are his biggest contract. All of his 9 children (minus 1 who had down syndrome) attended GRCH & Calvin College.

Can you guess who he is ?
(Hint: Not Prince or DeVos or Van Andel or Meijer family).

I'm a grandson 😁

Who am I

I  worked at Pine Rest Christian Hospital  for a while as a mental health worker in the Van Andel Center but also in other sections of the hospital and my father was also a employee here before me.

I had some good experiences here & a few bad ones- including losing a  patient - so mixed feelings- but  I think we helped a lot of people with the Christian emphasis on mental health.

I remember working with Brent Gates and Belinda Clarke and Frank Sisung the drummer who was married to the Boorsma girl,  and also several others who were fun to work with including Johnny King (great 70's bb 🏀 player at Calvin) .

I continue to pray4 🙏  the patients and the workers at Pine Rest some of whom are still there - who I worked with back in the 90s 👍.

Review of SF Bay Bridge Toll plaza

👎 👎  the Bay Bridge makes it so difficult for one time travelers to pay the toll especially if you're not going back to your mailing or residential address for a while you won't get the invoice

...and if you don't have the invoice number in some cases such as mine  it's difficult to pay online with just a license plate number because in some cases if you bought a used car the previous owner may have already an account with that license plate

-so I can't log in -and so I need the invoice number -and nobody is there to open my mail for for me.  and if I call SF MTA on the phone 📞 they DON'T answer or make you stay on the line for literally hours to get through to anybody to pay your Bay Bridge toll.

..and if you don't pay it within 30 days they assess a late fee -and I think that's exactly what they're trying to do is get a late fee to make it more expensive&  fill their coffers - a  very creepy system for one time travelers - aka tourists

Re vehicle #NoisePollution driving people crazy .

If i walk down the sidewalk & yell in peoples ears I'll prob be arrested for disturbing the peace, rightly so. its NOT free speech.

Yet loud exhausts 🚗 🏍 R increasing everywhere. It disturbed 1 man so much recently in Battleground WA he shot (& killed) his neighbor.

I ask police 🚔to start enforcing applicable laws  so that it DOESN'T drive more people CRAZY, literally. #NoisePollution

Re SF MTA parking enforcement San Francisco, 2021

I understand the city needs to have some parking rules and some way to enforce   otherwise it could be chaos but when you notice your parking citation is issued only a few minutes after the time begins, then you start to think that these are vexatious agents working for the city who actually delight in  issuing  parking tickets - like they're waiting for that moment to begin that they can start writing a ticket almost as if they're waiting at the end of the street drooling for the clock to start ticking so they can start writing tickets.

That's what makes you angry 😡- when they are lying-in-wait like a hunter waiting for the animal 🐅 to slay.   I got a parking ticket at 6:13 a.m. for a zone that starts at 6 a.m. and I had already had moved at 6:20 a.m.. It's like they intentionally chose my vehicle to start with. Sickening - that's the only thing i need a mask for in SF. 👎

And this is at a time when we are just barely emerging from the covid lockdown and all the financial hardships that it has created and now they add an  $83 parking citation to it.

Thanks a lot. NOT.  😠

Check out this review of Gary Bale Redi Mix Concrete on Google Maps

This guy is a CREEP 👎 - started honking at me to go faster - um, that's what a passing lane is for dude. I was driving the speed limit. Then he gave me this gesture. Glad I got his license plate and commercial identification so I can report him for aggressive driving.

https://goo.gl/maps/4C6rPsHXxrZ9Cvxe6

Re highway 41 across the everglades . Cops 🚔 need to patrol it more .

JUST A WARNING TO TOURISTS re HIGHWAY 41:

freaking stupid truck driver in a big rig tried to pass me on the two-way highway . I was driving the speed limit and as he passed there were cars coming and he was NOT going nearly fast enough to make a safe pass - so either he had to back off and return behind me but he wasn't going to do back down OR there literally would have been some sort of collision if I had not actually slammed my brakes to allow him in , and that's NOT the way you're supposed to pass .

If you're NOT able to pass safely with enough speed you don't make the other driver slow down to allow you to pass- that was really BAD driving.  I wish I had gotten his license plate to report him.  he could have caused a serious deadly accident .

And this road has a lot of wildlife and there are tourists driving up and down it going the speed limit , but there's locals & truckers who want to go faster. They've been down this road so many times they get angry behind you. It's very frustrating.

I wish they'd go somewhere else if they don't like driving down this road.  I mean if you live in  Florida you got to get used to being around tourists otherwise you better move somewhere else.

And then I also saw a dead turtle 🐢 on the road which is another proof of  overly-aggressive driving - if you can't avoid a turtle crossing the road you know you're driving too fast , or alternatively they intentionally hit it and you're a sick puppy if you're TRYING to kill a turtle with your truck.  slow down . There was a dead alligator 🐊 as well

re Ecology Trail Presidio San Francisco

Nice hiking trails 👣 BUT there are TONS of local yokel parents hovering over their super precious kids & you represent "stranger danger" to them. It kind of ruins the vibe of taking a hike 🚶. One kid actually announced "stranger" as I passed by. Another kid said "What are you looking at?" as I turned the corner & they were on the path. Both kids sounded SCRIPTED as if they had practiced with their PERFECT parents. Wow. This is the future of America 🇺🇸 ?Kids trained to adore & worship their parents & be suspicious of everybody else . i recommend you do this hike once to get to know the area & then cross it off your list.

Review of Wahclella Falls hike

It's a very nice Trail -pretty easy and a beautiful waterfall at the end.  however on the day I went there was a wedding at the waterfall - I couldn't believe it . which is  fine and beautiful but some of the wedding party (from utah) were a little bit suspicious of other hikers & they kind of took over the place as if it was theirs- which ruined the moment that you have when you arrive at the waterfall and want to enjoy it.

Instead  they stare at you suspiciously and start picking up their stuff like you're going to steal it.  good grief -I'm a tourist too  you fools.  I'm just as uptight about people stealing my stuff as yours. DON'T be so damned self-righteous and then as I tried to make my way through this group of about 50 people one of the dudes said "Stop. My girlfriend is changing. She's topless". too much information . just say "please wait, she's changing" i get it. I'm NOT a neandarthal nor a thief. Treat others the way you wish to be treated and don't act so damned self-righteous.

Re Spirit of Social Distancing

So a church ⛪i attended recently was doing everything they can of course to try  be in compliance with health and safety & sanitization re covid-19 prevention 👍, but one thing they're doing that seems to be contrary is funneling everybody through one side door .

I can see why in the beginning as we're coming in it might be easier to have everybody go thru one door 🚪but even at the end of the service everything remained blocked off.  IN fact I started trying to exit towards the back and there were two guys standing there - one who acted like he was about to tackle me if I tried to go out that way .

But it seemed to me it would be more in the spirit  of social distancing to allow people to exit in various different ways depending on which way they're going.  WHY make everybody funnel out the same door and get close to each other unnecessarily ?

By the way it also is a reminder that when you give a volunteer  a job at church sometimes they become zealots & take it too seriously . just chill out guys .

Re Spirit of the Law

The priest or deacon at St Ignatius in SF missed a perfect opportunity to talk about the spirit of the law but instead he apologized for committing a minor traffic infraction and said he should have known better. He was talking about driving thru the city and he was at a red light and there was absolutely nobody around & he was running late for something important and  decided to turn right on red even though the sign said no right turn on red.

And suddenly he saw the police lights behind him and  received a citation. I thought he was going to going to start talking about the spirit of the law of turning right on red - usually if there's  a sign that says no turn on red in certain situations  it's at unpredictable & more dangerous intersections, but since he had clearly looked every single way and done everything properly it was okay in this situation because the spirit of the law would justify it (which is related to public policy , which is supposed to be behind every law as every law student knows).

Instead he took the  opportunity to apologize publicly to the church  & self-chastize & say he shouldn't have done it.  Basically he was making a case for being legalistic - the exact opposite of what Jesus was trying to teach to the Pharisees and Sadducees back in the day.

It was a  bit bizarre to hear this from a man of the cloth which is why I wonder maybe this was a deacon rather than a priest (a little less educated) but even sometimes the most educated make such a mistake .

Anyways let me use this as an opportunity to let people know that there is the spirit of the law behind Biblical law as well as today's man-made laws ( called public policy ) or  supposed to be and when police violate the public policy of the law (ie the intended purpose) you can challenge them in court .

Now in the case of minor traffic infractions you probably won't win simply because judges too often "rubber stamp" everything,  but we should keep in mind that there is a spirit of the law . Like if you're driving in the middle of the night and you come to an intersection and it's a really long red &  no traffic whatsoever- the spirit of law would say you CAN go through it (after stopping and carefully looking both ways to make sure it's clear)even if the letter of the law would say you must wait until it turns green. Comprende ?

Surf Liquor Inc

Is  this the liquor store that turned off their outdoor water spout because some poor homeless man filled up a bottle of water from their outdoor tap ❓ how disgusting & despicable is that ❓you can't even allow a poor person to get some water from your TAP Outdoors ?
are you that freaking greedy ? & creepy ?

And you make your living selling booze 🍺 🍸 🍷 to people ?  a lot of whom DON'T need booze - some are alcoholics.  You will be held accountable someday by God for your greed and your contributions to the delinquency of society. 👎

5/13/21 Review of St Gregory Church, San Mateo CA

5/13/21 Review of St Gregory Church, San Mateo CA

Wow that was quite the experience . I'm just visiting the area and I looked up the local Catholic Church for daily mass and it said they have noon Mass so I arrived around 11:55 and all the doors were locked but then I saw a side door open and as I approached a man maybe a priest  -he  looked Filipino or Latino came to the door and he saw me and he said "can I help you?" I said "Isn't there noon Mass today?"  he said "Yes BUT ITS NOT OPEN to the PUBLIC. "

First of all if we're going to church at noon in the middle of the week we're NOT really just like  unchurched public people - we're a little bit more devoted than  the average person.  Personally I also may  have MORE education than this fellow- maybe he was a deacon -I don't know.  I went to Seminary (BA/BA/M.DIV).

So that was kind of rude and dismissive & presumptuous of him as if he was some kind of special person & I was just a "random member of the public" walking by randomly hoping to go to church for the 1st time in my life.

(But if I was - if he was a SINCERE Christian he would REALLY be concerned about inviting me in, or should be)

(by the way he did NOT look very impressive.  He was kind of rollie pollie maybe a little bit obese, NOT very well-dressed -he didn't have a priest robe on either so I don't even know for sure he was a priest. maybe he's just an assistant of some sort)

Second of all, why don't they fix their website  to say the noon masses are "online only". I said this to the fellow and he said in a VERY HOLLOW tone "SORRY ABOUT THAT".  I DON'T think he meant it  at all . He did NOT sound sincere.

I highly doubt he will go back and correct it or notify the people who need to correct it . That tells me a lot about this place. These random behind-the-stage encounters tell you a lot about the reality of an organization. Disappointed 👎

re my negative experience at St Anne's Catholic Church in Union City CA.

Located at

re St Anne's Catholic Church
in Union City CA

I am a white Catholic ✝ American and I love people of all colors and race and ethnicity .  Union City is highly India- America culture and I love India culture and I love Bollywood as well but in some cases they become such a clique that they control certain things & in some cases the churches as well.

And  sometimes when it becomes predominately " them" 🇮🇳 they have a bit of negative prejudice towards "us" 🇺🇸 .

So I went there for the first time recently and really experienced some of that prejudice- they assumed negative things about me as a white person even though I am a very educated & self-disciplined person (BA/BA/M.Div).

So I hope that it can get better and change and there may be a little bit of self-reflection about being from India in America.  God bless us all

Re Rev Quan Tran

I was not sure how to directly email or contact Father Joseph Knerr.  Could you please forward this to him or print it out and put it in his box?  thank you

re Rev Quan Tran : The  Asian priest -I think he's Vietnamese-  who just wrote a book about imitating Mother Mary,  is actually being a little bit cocky and condescending towards the audience every time he does a homily. It does NOT feel very spiritual.

It feels like he's talking down to us - even disrespecting us. I personally also went to Seminary - even though I'm not a priest . I have a masters degree and I don't really like being talked down to when I am at church like he's talking to kids . And he's also taking advantage of the obligatory respect many parishioners give the priest- sometimes over-the-top respect.

I've also written books, and it's nice to be happy about having written a book, but it seems like every single homily he's boasting about it- not just talking about it . He's boasting & bragging which is not a characteristic of being in the spirit but a  characteristic of being in the flesh.

So let us pray for this priest to tone it DOWN a little bit & respect the audience as he wants to be respected likewise. If he doesn't feel comfortable here, maybe he'd be better off with a Vietnamese congregation such as at Holy Spirit or Westminster.

Now I notice he's got a J.D. as well.
He's over-qualified & bored with us & is starting to be abusive & taunting us.  Give him some new challenges .

Review of SA RECYCLING IN OXNARD (on Mountain View) 11/20/20

Everything was good except for the lady at the scale because she saw me doing something by the rear license plate- she assumed (wrongly) I was trying to take the rear license plate off which apparently is not allowed- and then instead of JUST asking me what i was doing she told me to go stand over there and "open my book" where I had put my personalized license plate FRAME (which i had forgotten to take off- & had to break off at the last moment b/c nobody would kindly allow me to borrow a screwdriver for 30 seconds)  . she  talked to me like I was some kind of criminal or something . all you need to do is ask lady- or look at the vehicle itself - the plate was still there.  show some respect.  NOT ALL of us are criminals just because we're recycling our vehicle via Bureau of Automotive Repair program. Being poor is NOT a crime- & recycling a vehicle does NOT mean you are poor & dishonest- it might mean you're smart. I just bought a new car & this one was having engine problems & i couldn't fix it or resell it - that's what this program is good for.  Also they need to put up a number for the gate next to the scale. I know it's a wrecking yard but you don't have to live in it like you're a hobo. You can make it look decent.

Is Goodwill Corp Profiteering Off of Free Donations to Them ?

Yes you are getting clothes at a discount- cheaper than you would get at any department store - but it is also donated to them by gracious people for free &  Goodwill  then turns around and makes a profit on it. But they are a nonprofit business so they should NOT be making TOO MUCH PROFIT & that's the question- how much profit 💰 are they actually making❓

For example today I went in and bought a pair of pants that had a little worn out fringe on the bottom and I asked if I could get a discount. She said "no that's a solid price absolutely not". I thought maybe a dollar or two would be fair to reduce it from $8 to 6 or something like that but NO.  You would think that Goodwill has people there working because they have compassion for others, but I didn't sense it from this person at all.

And that makes me a little upset and wonder HOW MUCH MONEY is Goodwill actually making? I wonder how much the CEO is making and what kind of mansion he or she may be living in. Are they making too much off of free donations to them ?

Update: "GOODWILL CEO and owner Mark Curran profits $2.3 million a year...., Goodwill has become an international nonprofit that takes in more than $4.8 billion in annual revenue"

To the RUDE LADY with the bike on the narrow ramp at Redondo Beach

To the RUDE LADY  with the bike  on the narrow ramp at Redondo Beach. U could have waited 15 seconds for me to reach the bottom rather than starting up & causing us to squeeze by eachother.👎 i had the right-of-way since i was already halfway down..u started upward anyways ..Furthermore there's a big wide ramp more suitable for bicycles only a 60-second ride down the strand. I really wouldn't have cared if u were nice, but you were bossy, like "get outta my way" 😠 #ShameOnYou taking advantage of people.

Yelp review: ie my review of yelp

Despicable: #Yelp removed a review I did of a major store  in L.A. b/c I said I get tired of Latino employees calling me "boss", basically accusing ME of being racist because I was accusing them of being racist. Calling a person "boss" is a 'dog whistle' by these fellas..They use it primarily towards whites & at first you think they're being respectful, but it's actually a subtle self-serving insult. I am self-employed & WORK plenty hard every single day  & I'm NOT your boss nor bossing anybody around like a "karen".
