8/24/21 Review of Fault Lake Trail near Sandpoint Idaho

8/24/21 started hiking at 630 am. All  of the places I've been hiking this summer so far have been crowded with other hikers including  Mount ⛰Rainier &  the Leavenworth area near Enchantments & also Mount Baker, but I had this trail all to myself BOTH ways - not a single other hiker & when I got back to the trailhead  no other cars. Really felt like "My Own Private Idaho". 😎

The hike was great & the 6 miles there went very quick. I enjoyed the lake & I had brought a fishing 🎣 line just in case because I read the reviews that there is some good fishing here. So I dropped my line in with a little red cherry lure and sure enough a beautiful rainbow 🌈🐟 trout took the bait in a few seconds. I quickly released him - too early for a fish dinner.

On the way back I think I heard πŸ‘‚  one bear and I saw another 🐻. I also think I saw  the back end of an elk running away or something with a white rear end.  The bear that I did see cracked a branch so I saw him before he saw me. In fact I don't think he saw me but I think he did smell me or heard me cuz he was looking for something.

He was through the trees on a ridge above me. I had a good view of him with my naked eye but I couldn't get a good picture πŸ“· of him - too many shadows & branches.

HE 🐻 stood there for a few minutes just looking around and then he started coming down and was on a trajectory to  intersect with the trail in front of me so I started running to avoid being seen and probably ran about half a mile to make sure I was out of his distance. HE  was a big 🐻 boy - i DIDN'T want to tangle with him.

Back at the parking lot i explored the river for about an hour before leaving.  There's lots of little pools and waterfalls you can cool off in although the water is a bit too cold to stay in for too long but it is warmer than Fault Lake itself which was too cold to swim in. Also by the way there were NO flies or mosquitoes up there this time of year πŸ‘.

Getting to the trailhead is a fairly easy drive except for the last half a mile  is a bit rough - a dirt road with big bumps and rocks but if you go slow enough you can make it even with a regular car πŸš—

Review: 1st Presbyterian Spokane

Pretty nice. I was just visiting & the people were nice to me even though i did NOT wear a mask 😷 which the sign says were encouraged but NOT required.

But since almost everybody had one on AND were not being holier-than-thou about it, I decided I would put one on just to be nice & put their minds at ease- those with weak consciences who think that the masks are going to save them (which they won't).

So I reached to the box of new masks they had on a table and one of the ladies - I guess she was an employee- kind of  growled "yes" as if that was the right thing to do. If that was her idea of behavior modification it  was very off-putting, more like being a mask bully.

So at that moment  I decided NO I will NOT put a mask on because I DO know better. Apart from this one lady, everything was excellent πŸ‘. Thanks

Review of Stuart Lake Trail, Enchantments region, Leavenworth WA

I notice  one review says they  "saw two bears". How come there's no pictures  πŸ“· ? First thing I would want to do if I saw a bear 🐻 is take a picture unless  it's aggressively charging at me which doesn't sound like it did , so I kind of doubt that he actually saw two bears, but it's a nice story.

2nd , to the two weirdos I saw near Stuart Lake who called me SIR. You don't do that out here on the trail.  This ISN'T like some kind of formal environment.  We're all just fellow hikers . YOU ruin the vibe. Go home. Go back  to west Hollywood or wherever you came from πŸ‘Ž

Re St James Cathedral ⛪Seattle & Archbishop Etienne

Great church ⛪, but i am disappointed with archbishop Etienne 's recent pronouncement re  communion basically without any standards πŸ‘Ž- even if you're in favor of abortion - even if you are in a position of political power & take steps to support abortion rather than preserve life -Etienne says you can STILL receive communion because it's "about grace".

But these are NOT people apologetic nor repentant about abortion - they are NOT in a state of grace - they're NOT even asking for grace at the communion table - they are arrogantly in defiance of God & the catholic church position on abortion. Just like going to hell πŸ”₯- the only reason you end up there is if you DON'T want to go to heaven . God grants you your choice. It's that simple.

Etienne is either obtuse or corrupt himself - neither of which is tolerable at such a high position .

8/10/21 Review of Seattle Seahawks training camp

So this was my first experience at the Seattle Seahawks training camp in Renton Washington a suburb of Seattle - right on the shore of Lake Washington. In fact you could see boats cruising by while watching them practice.

I think one boat tried to come and watch by the space between the bushes but it seemed like a couple of fellows shooed them away.  I'm not sure how they can legally keep boats away but the boat took off - seems like you could swim or take a stand up paddle board up to the shore and watch the practice but people from Seattle aren't like that- too reserved in nature.

.  I've been to several different NFL teams training camps and this is the only one so far that I've been to that charges an  admission fee.  about $14. There's no way to come and watch for free. And you have to park at a shopping mall a few miles away and they take you in a school bus to the practice.

One thing I DIDN'T like upon arrival was a guy yelling at me to make sure I put the admission bracelet on and snap it -as if I was going to try  some kind of scam or  something.  WHAT a JERK πŸ‘Ž.  & he wasn't even the one who was supposed to be checking for bracelets.

Just a busybody minding everybody else's business. After from that I didn't have any problems with anybody -although I didn't like them telling us we can't take videos of the practice.

Once again Seattle people are so nice and compliant about everything they'll just accept it as an order when it's really probably even NOT constitutional to tell people they can't take a video of something.

The practice was pretty normal and then they had a scrimmage at the end. Unlike other training camps the players here do NOT come over to the sidelines and give autographs during or even after the practice.

The coach Pete Carroll was dressed in all white looking like a painter or something - kind of running around barking commands but in his nice guy kind of way.  HE might be TOO nice to really command  the kind of performance needed to get to the Superbowl.

Overhead we  saw bald eagles flying - that was pretty incredible- &  fits well with the name of the team . And then practice ended after 90 minutes.

And I prayed for the players and  continue to pray for them- hopefully they can find a higher calling beyond football 🏈 &  the coaches & spectators too ✝ πŸ™ ❤ #RepentAndBeBaptized
